Hotel Reservations Redux

Ok so it sounds like everything is all settled with Stacy at the Hilton Garden Inn in Gilroy. You are now able to reserve rooms at a group rate there for the wedding. Please see the post below for all the relevant information. Remember you have to call the front desk directly (you won't be able to get the group rate via the internet) and you have to ask for the Martinez-Wiedlin Wedding Block. If you have any questions or issues contact me or my mom. Keep checking back for updates as the BIG DAY draws near. Check out the links on the right side of the blog for other useful websites as well!

See you all very soon!

Music makes the world go round

So we finally booked a DJ this weekend. His name is Norman Anub. He is a San Jose native (went to Overfelt high school as a kid) and came very highly recommended by Debbie Sanchez, our coordinator at Fortino. He seems very nice, organized, and thorough. He had a big questionnaire that asked us all sorts of questions like Where did we meet? How did Jason propose? What were things we liked and didn't like about DJ's we had seen at weddings and other functions? He was very intereted in the kind of mood we wanted to create. He also said that it is important for him to know all this so that he could determine whether it was a good fit between us. Overall, I was very impressed and it gave me a whole new wave of exitement about the whole thing! Check out Norman at his website and tell me he doesn't seem awesome!

More to come so visit often.

Confusion

Hi everyone. I guess there has been some confusion regarding the hotel reservations. I think it was my fault. I jumped the gun a little by posting the information about the group rate before my mom had finished filling out paperwork and negotiating with them. As a result, people have been trying to reserve rooms but not getting the discount. Please bear with me while I sort this out. Check back in about a week for more information. Hopefully, everything will be up and running by then!

thanks!
Love ya!
