Hotel Reservations

Hi everyone. I have some really important information about reserving rooms for the wedding. We have made arrangements with the Hilton Garden Inn Gilroy for a group rate on single and double occupancy rooms. The group rate is $119 per night (plus any applicable taxes). Guest must call the front desk at (408) 840-7000 and ask for the Martinez-Wiedlin Wedding Block. There are currently 7 single occupancy rooms and 8 double occupancy rooms available. If those rooms get booked they will release more as needed. Rooms need to be reserved by June 1, 2009, otherwise they will be released. Please visit the Hilton's website for more information about the hotel and their amenities. Other hotels are available in the area as well if you would like to book elsewhere. However, group rates have not been arranged with any other hotel. Don't delay! Make your reservations ASAP!!

Update 2/16/09

So a quick update. After a very lovely and productive Valentine's Day weekend, I have now ordered shower invites and created rough drafts of the actual wedding invites. Mom and I also negotiated some group rates for the Hilton in Gilroy. I will have more information about that when we get everything settled.
